We’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of the MIDI Turntable in Minneapolis with a music-video showcase.

Long time EJ, friend and supporter Nico Demonte has put together an incredible night of music and video entertainment for the TC EJ Festival. The event will take place August 27th at 1st Avenue in Minneapolis. This iconic club, owned by Prince, is the location they shot Purple Rain.

The inspiration for this event is the 10th anniversary of the MIDI Turntable, and the Twin Cities EJ Festival is already garnering some nice press. It’s kindof amazing to look back over the last ten years at how much things have changed, yet in some ways still haven’t caught up. We’ll be taking over the Record Room, a private VIP area. Tickets are just $3! These ain’t Miami prices.

Performers include:

Justin Kent aka EJ K (MIDI Turntable Inventor, Miami FL)
000000000001 (Emergency Broadcast Network (VIDEO REMIX)
Naughty Wood (MUSIC)
Aaron Bliss (MUSIC) and
EJ Nate (EJ MIDI Turntable developer VIDEO)
Nancy Cheng (MUSIC) and TimeSquid (VIDEO)
Jobot (MUSIC) and VisionQuest (VIDEO)
Emmanuel and Tonio (First Avenue VJ’s)
Mathstatic (Mapping installation)
Mach Fox (Video Installation)

Come check it out if you’re in the area, and if not, watch the Experience Jockey Facebook page for photos and videos.
