Justin Kent serves as a returning speaker at “Beyond the CD” – UF’s Music Law Conference, sitting on the “New Distribution” panel.The UF Music Law Conference celebrates its 5th year of connecting musicians, lawyers, students, academics, policy makers, and entertainment executives. The conference allows people from different sides of the entertainment industry to learn from each other and network. The theme of this year’s conference is “Beyond the CD,” which will center around the music business as relates to film, television, video games, new distribution, and emerging technologies.The 2007 conference is scheduled for Feb 9 and 10, 2007. The live music showcase will be on the evening of Feb 9 (Friday) from 9pm to 1:30am at a live music club in downtown Gainesville named Common Grounds.
